“Knowledge can be specialized, but life must be broad.” This is a quote I saw at the Center of General Education that deeply influenced me. Under CYCU holistic education philosophy of “the Creator, Humanity, the Entire Creation, and the Individual Self. ” I’ve bravely taken on various interdisciplinary challenges. Through these experiences, I’ve gradually come to understand my true self and become more aware of the needs of others.
On this journey of pursuing holistic excellence, I am most grateful for my family’s support and trust, which allowed me to be myself and walk my own path. I also want to thank the professors from the Department of Environmental Engineering, the Center of General Education, and the Graduate School of Religion for their constant encouragement and trust. They have helped me build professional knowledge while developing the soft power needed to face the world. Additionally, I’m thankful for the Service-Learning Center and the teammates from school team and clubs, especially the Running Club. With your companionship, what once seemed like impossible dreams have step by step become reality, creating countless precious and unforgettable memories. True courage is treating every challenge as an opportunity to grow. No matter what the future holds, I hope to carry this belief forward, walking steadily toward becoming the best version of myself.
