【Academic Affairs】

1. Courses: Course opening, scheduling, adding or dropping courses, transfers, changes, supplementary enrollment, weighting of various indicators, syllabi, textbook online notifications and collection reminders, course regulations, course change proposals, required elective course lists, special course selections, distance learning, micro-programs, etc.
2. Student graduation qualification review – coursework, pre-graduate studies, summer study, minors, double majors, course suspensions, department transfers, transfers, and credit transfers.
3. Student leave and withdrawal procedures.
4. Admissions procedures through various channels (meetings, prospectuses, consultations, document verification and collection, grade compilation, etc.).
5. Main records of departmental academic evaluation meetings, departmental affairs meetings, departmental curriculum committees, IEET evaluations, and departmental and college advisory committees.
6. Preparation and compilation of various departmental (school) business plans.
7. Compilation of IEET field visit materials.

【Student Affairs】

1. Advisor lists, support for new students’ first mile, and other related tasks.
2. Graduate thesis, qualifying exams, advisory professors, and advisory committees.
[Human Resources]
1. Appointment, renewal, evaluation, and promotion of full-time and part-time faculty and teaching assistants.
2. Faculty-related surveys, workshops, and conferences.

【Human Resources】
1. Responsibilities for the appointment, renewal, evaluation, and promotion of full-time and part-time faculty and teaching assistants.
2. Faculty-related surveys, workshops, and meetings.

【Department Administration】
1. Faculty research: IEET reports, mid- and long-term plans, departmental evaluations, university databases, Ministry of Education databases, and various performance reports.
2. Responsibilities for the Ministry of Science and Technology, industry-university collaboration, faculty research, international exchange, and international enrollment.
3. Funding control, expense reporting, reporting, and auditing.
4. Preparation of fundraising reports for the “Pillars of the Central Plains” campaign (including donation statistics).
5. Bankbook and seal management.
6. Management of non-student events such as Spring Festival banquets, year-end parties, thanksgiving dinners, and retirement dinners.
7. Processing of official documents and Outlook mail.
8. Management of the department head’s calendar and the university seal.
9. Assisting with temporary assignments from various departments.
10. Assist the Dean with departmental affairs and any temporary assignments.
11. Assist the College of Engineering with any temporary assignments.
12. Serve as the department’s primary contact point for matters related to the university, external affairs, faculty, and administration.
